F.A.Q
- How long does it take for delivery after I place an order?
Allow up to 3 weeks from placement date. In order for us to provide the best pricing to you we maintain minimum stock on hand. You will receive an email notification of when your item has been sent to you. If you are ordering multiple servers and part of your orders are complete we will contact you on your preference of sending the available items and sending the balance upon arrival - additional delivery charges will apply for this.
- When does my credit card get charged?
Upon confirmation that all parts are available. This is generally same day or next business day of when your order is placed. If an item is no longer available from the manufacturer we will inform you of this so an alternative can be chosen or to cancel the order.
- Can you install the server in our premises?
We are unable to install in your premises, goods are for customers co-locating their equipment within our facilities. Servers may be picked-up by the customer prior to co-location to install a operating system.
- My item has arrived and it's not what I actually wanted, can I return it for a full refund?
We suggest you chose wisely before placing an order. You may contact us within 7 days
to arrange a return at your expense, please note that a 15% re-stocking fee will apply and must be in complete and original condition.
The refund will be in the form of store credit only.
- Who do I contact if I have opted for On-site Warranty on my server?
In the event that you do have a hardware problem with your server and have Next Business Day or On-site Warranty on your server, will be provided with contact details with your order.
- Do you sell and ship to countries outside of Australia?
No. We only sell to customers of Host Networks and Co-lo.com.au
- I want a custom quote for a similar system, can you do this for me?
To maintain low prices, at present we are unable to provide custom quotes.
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Host Networks (Host Networks Pty Ltd) collects, uses, stores, archives and discloses information collected from users (each, a "User") of the ServerShop web site. Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the way your information is collected and used.
The Information We Collect:
This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the ServerShop and Host Networks web sites. On some pages, you can order products, make requests, and register to receive materials. We may ask for personal information such as Name, Company Name, Address, Phone Number, Email Address and or Credit Card information. Your IP address will be logged by our statistics and ordering pages. We use the IP address to identify server problems and administer our Web site, fraudulent orders and to analyse visitor traffic and on our web site.
The Way We Use This Information:
We use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order only to complete that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order, for example on-site warranty provided by third parties.
We will use information stored in our database about you to provide support and future sales. Email addresses and other data collected in support requests are not shared with outside parties unless required to fulfill that support request. We may email directly to our customer list special promotional offers from time to time relating only to products and/or services sold/performed by the ServerShop web site.
Host Networks uses aggregated, anonymous data for research regarding the effectiveness of the Web site and Host Networks's marketing, advertising and sales efforts. Host Networks does not use such anonymous information for any other purpose.
In the case of fraudulent orders, any information collected may be passed to authorities for further investigation.
Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above.

How You Can Access Or Correct Your Information:
You can correct factual errors in your personally identifiable information by sending us a request that credibly shows error. To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections. We may disclose aggregated, anonymous data to investors and potential partners that are bound to a non disclosure agreement.

Terms and Conditions
Payment Terms
Payment terms are strictly Cash Before Delivery (C.B.D).
Payment can be made by Credit Card (Visa and Mastercard) or Direct Deposit. Direct deposits will only be noted as payment received once confirmation of the funds has cleared and appear on our bank statement. We may ask for further information such as drivers license and copy of your credit card to be sent through for further verification.
All goods stated as per the invoice remain the property of ServerShop/Host Networks Pty Ltd until the invoice is paid in full.
Any associated bank charges received by the customer are the liability of the customer.
Freight and Delivery
All freight charges shall be paid by the customer. Unless specified otherwise, all freight does not include insurance charges and are not covered by insurance. It is the responsibility of the customers to arrange for insurance coverage. Host Networks Pty Ltd cannot be held responsibility of the customers to arrange for insurance coverage. Host Networks Pty Ltd cannot be held responsible for any missing goods or damages incurred during transit.
The customer may chose to use their own third party courier company for collection of goods. Please advise contact details and account information when placing your order.
Pricing and stock
We try and maintain up to date pricing and known available models on our web site, however prices and manufacturers models are subject to change without prior notice. If you have placed an order and items are no longer available at that price you will be given the option to agree to the new price or to cancel the item/order. If an manufacturers model is no longer available, or lengthy delays will delay the order we will supply you with alternatives which you may chose to accept or cancel the order, or keep the order on backorder if the item is available but delayed.
Warranty
All items are provided with a manufactures warranty (normally 12 months, less for items such as batteries). Warranty is provided on a back to base basis. Customers shall bear the cost of freight for all transport required. On-site warranties are offered on certain products, if selected will replace the standard warranties offered.
Goods returned for warranty must have Return Authorisation Number (RA#) which can be obtained by lodging a request notify of the item, serial number and fault description to the email address on the contact us page. The RA# must be clearly marked on the outside of the package with a brief description of faults enclosed. Proof of purchase is required, a copy of sales invoice must be included. Goods returned for warranty should be properly packed to prevent damage during transit. Failure to do so might void the warranty. Replacement may be given if goods are found faulty and returned to us within seven (7) days. No refunds will be given.
If goods are returned for warranty and no faults are found, a no fault fee of $55.00 (inc GST) will be charged. Host Networks Pty Ltd will not be liable to repair any goods where the damage has been caused in any way through the fault of the customer including freight if the customer did not obtain insurance.
Return for Credit
Goods purchased are returnable for credit if in complete and original condition and returned within seven (7) days of the shipping date. However, a restocking fee to the value of 15% of invoice cost will be charged. A credit note for the net amount will be raised.
